What the Mac beta stores

Before They Ask stores the information you add while using the app, such as projects, commitments, people, reminders, notes, updates, and settings.

That information is used to show your workspace, prepare drafts, track reminders, and keep your follow-up history available in the app.

What data you enter

The app stores the profile, workspace, projects, commitments, stakeholders, reminders, activity, settings, sent updates, and optional training examples you create in the app.

Stakeholder names, emails, notes, due dates, and update text are user-entered work data. Use test-appropriate information while the beta is active.

Drafting help

Drafting features use the details you choose to capture in the app.

Templates remain available when draft assistance is unavailable.

Before They Ask does not send work data to third-party AI providers for draft generation or capture extraction.

Feedback and support

If you email [email protected], the email address, message, screenshots, and attachments you choose to send are used to respond to the request and improve the beta.

Crash reports and beta feedback may also be processed through Apple testing tools.

Deleting data

The Mac app includes a Delete All Data action in Profile for removing your workspace data from the beta app.
